Clerkenwell Films is a multi-award winning film and television production company.
Formed in 1998, Clerkenwell Films is firmly established as one of the leading scripted producers in the UK, creating high quality, popular television for both UK and international audiences. Among its credits are award-winning, critically acclaimed shows such as Misfits, Lovesick and The End of the F***ing World.
Chief Executive and Director
A producer with over twenty five years’ experience, Murray set up Clerkenwell Films in 1998.
Since then Murray has either produced or exec-produced all of the company’s output and oversees the company’s strategy, activities and productions.
Wim De Greef
Head of Production and Finance
Wim has worked widely across the film and television industry as a production accountant since 1997 and has been responsible for Clerkenwell Films’ corporate accounts since 1999, joining the company full time as Financial Controller in 2008.
Oliver has worked with Clerkenwell Films since May 2011 assisting with commercial and legal and business affairs issues. He previously worked in business affairs roles in television and film, online and computer game businesses in both production and broadcast, most recently with Disney and Sega.
Petra has been at Clerkenwell Films since 2000. Before joining the company she worked at Scottish Television, and BFI Productions. Petra was executive producer on all five series of Misfits, The Aliens and more recently The End Of The F***ing World for Channel 4 and Netflix.
Andy joined Clerkenwell Films in 2002 where he developed Misfits, Afterlife and Persuasion.
More recently he executive produced Not Safe For Work for Channel 4, three seasons of Lovesick for Netflix and The End Of The F***ing World for Channel 4 and Netflix. He continues to develop and oversee a wide variety of projects across the slate.
Matt began his career at World Productions before joining Clerkenwell Films in 2006.
Matt was the Development Executive on all five series of Misfits and more recently worked as an executive producer on The Aliens.
Ed worked on a number of productions including the RSC’s Hamlet for the BBC before making the transition into development at Origin Pictures. He joined Clerkenwell Films in March 2010.
He has since executive produced a pilot for Comedy Central, three seasons of Lovesick for Netflix, Thin Ice for Fox and The End Of The F***ing World for Channel 4 and Netflix. He continues to develop projects across all genres on the slate.
Rachelle started her career at ITV Studios before joining the BBC where she worked as a development producer across drama. She produced two series of The Break for BBC Three and was one of the producers to receive a BFI Vision Award.
More recently she was associate producer on Amazon's new sci-fi series, The Feed. She joined the team to develop projects across their slate.
Emily worked in production at Secret Cinema before joining Clerkenwell in October 2013.
She script edited The End of The F***ing World for Channel 4 and Netflix, and is currently developing a variety of projects across the slate.
Charlie worked at Curtis Brown before joining Clerkenwell in September 2016. She is currently developing a number of projects across the slate.
Zoe was on the external audit team of Clerkenwell Films before joining the company in 2019. As well as focusing on the group accounts, she also assists the production accountants on THE DUCHESS.
Maria was a trainee researcher at MAMA Youth Project and a production assistant for a BBC Grafton House Drama before joining Clerkenwell in 2019.
